Good Path Profile Example
A good path profile will have the radio's line of sight (red line) and the bulk of the oscillation (blue line) in the clear area of the profile.
Bad Path Profile Example
A bad path profile will have terrain in the way of the radio's line of sight and/or its main travelling area. While a signal can still travel with only the line of sight in the clear, loss of signal strength or loss of some data is not uncommon.
